I started my career in journalism, pivoted to web development, and discovered a passion for user experience design.

My life-long passion for landscape photography led to fascination with visual communication and journalism.

Passionate about fighting for the truth through a polarizing media climate, I moved to New York to study Journalism + Design at The New School.

While there, I learned how visual communication could be effective across mediums, and sparked my interest in UX / UI through web design.

I developed a technical foundation at UC Berkeley, where I earned a certificate in Full Stack Web Development, and gained industry experience with JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.

While there, I worked on projects that built upon my interest in journalism, using Google’s Fact Check Tool API to offer reliable alternatives to non-credible claims on social media.

This has allowed me to not only visualize but also build and prototype functional, interactive elements, bridging the gap between design and development.
